Pakoray / Fritters



-2 cup chickpea flour (Besan).

 
-1 tsp. chilli powder or to taste.

 

-1 tsp. salt or to taste.

 
-2 tsp. White Cumin seeds(crushed)

 
-1 1/2 cup water or as required

 
-4 finely Chopped Green Chillies or to taste.

 
-1/2 cup Fresh Coriander, (finely chopped)

 
-1/4 teaspoon baking powder.


-2 Onions roughly chopped


-Oil for frying.

1-Combine Flour, Salt, Red Chilli Powder, White Cumin Seeds, & Baking pwd. in a bowl.


2- Pour in sufficient water to make a thick batter and beat well until smooth.Leave it for at least 10 minz.



3- Drop in the onions, green chillies & fresh coriander & mix well.



4- Heat oil in a deep pan.


5- Drop  batter into the hot oil with the help of spoon.... reduce heat


6- and let it cook until pakoras are golden brown and crisp.




6- Remove pakoras and let them drain.

Serve Hot!!!
